Plus you don't need a manual to install the product. It didn't matter because the CD had the old driver that didn't work any way. Funny thing, the replacement didn't contain any driver CD's nor manual, just the bare bone keyboard, mouse, and wireless USB wireless receiver where as the first one that came, though defective, had the manual and CD's in the box. The shipped product contains the 6.0 version which caused a bunch of BSOD's when I first tried to get the darn thing to work.
BTW, make sure you go online to Microsoft and download the latest version of IntelliPoint 6.1 and IntelliType Pro 6.1 It's free. Kinda sucked having to pay the return shipping charge and wait another 2 weeks for a replacement. It would not connect with the wireless receiver. Overall Review: Had to RMA for an exchange the first go round because the keyboard was defective. Not a con but batteries are not included (2 AA for the mouse and 2 AA for the keyboard). Overall Review: As much as I type and the speed at which I type, this keyboard feels completely natural and comfortable. Either way, two eggs were lost b/c of this. I don't know if its the design of the mouse or if a defect. Also, when trying to use the autoscroll by clicking on the scroll wheel it does the same thing. I am disappointed in this as it is a main feature for me.
The forward and back buttons on the mouse is very convenient along with the wrist pad on the keyboard.Ĭons: I use the center mouse button (scroll wheel button) constantly to open a new tab in my browser, however, the center mouse button on this mouse only works sometimes.
